As part of ARTWORKS, an exciting new programme starting in Autumn 2008, Firebird is recruiting a freelance Project Manager for a 24-month fixed contract to cover the life of the project.

The post holder will be an experienced project manager responsible for ensuring delivery of all operational aspects of the programme, liaising with Firebird and other project personnel, and acting as the key link between the artists, mentors, participants and our partners.

ARTWORKS is a combined programme of cross-arts activities and 1-2-1 mentoring designed for unemployed and economically inactive people. The programme will help participants raise their aspirations and confidence levels so that they are better able to take up job opportunities and training.

All Firebird posts are subject to satisfactory CRB checks and an initial probationary period of 6 months.

ARTWORKS is funded by Lincolnshire County Council's European Social Fund Co-financing programme.
