Derbyshire Arts Development Group

Derbyshire Arts Development Group has commissioned Cultivate to project manage the development of three practical action research projects to develop new arts attendance and participation in Derbyshire. These projects follow on from ‘Arts Audiences and Participants Research’ conducted in 2008-9.

Each of the three projects has been designed to reach a different target audience, and Cultivate will work with Artizani, Retina Dance Company, and Event Us to deliver the programme.

Thirty workshops were held at various locations across the county with over 1,000 participants getting involved. A follow-up session with the participating organisations shared the learning from the project and a detailed report was compiled and distributed. A thorough evaluation report was also delivered.
