Using the Charity Tribunal - Free Charity Seminar

Friday 16th April 2010, Freeth Cartwright LLP, Conference Centre, Cumberland Court, 80 mount Street, Nottingham, NG1 6HH

12noon - 2pm: Free buffet lunch will be provided

The Charity Tribunal has been open for business since March 2008. What practical use can charities make of it to challenge those decisions of the Charity Commission by which they or their beneficiaries may have been affected?

Come and listen to the Principal Judge of the Tribunal, Alison McKenna, who will explain how the Tribunal works, and then join her and other charities in an open forum to discuss the issues.

Since 2003 Alison has held dual qualifications as a barrister and Solicitor Advocate and in her career has worked at the Bar, in the Government Legal Service and in private practice as a charity law specialist.
