DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY AND ITS IMPACT ON THE ARTS

with Uzma Choudhry and Barry Hale, Co-founders and Directors of Threshold Studios

How can artists and arts organisations learn about and engage with new technologies? This debate will inform participants on the role of Digital media in art exhibition and production. They will look at how digital technologies can help to liberate artistic practice, and offer development ideas for those wanting to learn more.

Further discussion will follow on the complexities of digital art and publishing, and the way in which digital technology can be both an advancement and barrier to our experience of art.
